Diana Goss is a Director, Patient-Centered Outcomes Assessment with more than 30 years of experience in data collection and health-related research. Her project management experience includes developing case report forms (electronic and paper based), developing study protocols, supervising data collection staff to ensure compliance with study procedures, tracking site visits and study participant enrollment, managing data abstraction, and creating study progress reports. Ms. Goss currently plays a key role in national data collection efforts, performing daily activities such as liaising with clinical sites for patient recruitment for cognitive interviews, site management, and reporting spontaneous adverse events with an emphasis on confidentiality and participants’ rights. She also has conducted focus groups and cognitive interviews in a variety of populations to inform the development of survey instruments, including the refinement of item wording, formatting, and response scales. Her results-oriented, client-focused approach to project leadership includes strategic planning, financial management, process development, and resource allocation. Some additional responsibilities include tracking budgets, setting up consultant contracts, invoicing both to clients and consultants or subcontractors, and coordinating and managing timelines.
