Xiaoying Liu, PhD, is a Research Health Outcomes Scientist of Health Preference Assessment at RTI Health Solutions, Research Triangle Park, NC, USA. She has over 10 years of academic research experience in health, environmental and development economics. She is skilled in empirical economic modelling using administrative and various household survey data, and has extensive experience in survey design, and field data collection in multiple developing countries. She has extensive experience in designing and analyzing stated preference surveys in the context of health preference and environmental management. At RTI, she has led a preference study understanding high risk population’s preference for a preventative treatment for lung cancer, and has been involved in several preference studies for treatments for conditions including Chronic lymphocytic leukemia, Liver Ascites, Myasthenia Gravis, etc. She has published in several health and economics journals.
