Rohan Parikh, PhD, is a Senior Director in the Health Economics group at RTI-HS. Dr. Parikh has undergraduate training in pharmacy and graduate training in health economics and services research. Prior to joining RTI HS, Dr. Parikh previously worked at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, the Department of Veteran Affairs and Baylor College of Medicine Health Services Research and Development, and LA-SER Analytica. He has worked with various data sources to conduct health economics, comparative effectiveness, and health policy research. Dr. Parikh has worked in several therapeutic areas, including oncology, hematology, rare diseases, diabetes, and hypertension. His dissertation work involved conducting a comparative- and cost-effectiveness evaluation of treatment sequences administered to patients with metastatic colorectal cancer using real-world data.
Dr. Parikh's research has been published in various peer-reviewed journals, including Value in Health, PharmacoEconomics, Journal of Medical Economics, Health Services Research, Medical Care Research & Review, BMJ Quality & Safety, American Journal of Managed Care, American Journal of Pharmacy Benefits, Medical Oncology, Pancreas, and the World Journal of Gastroenterology. Dr. Parikh also reviews articles for the American Journal of Pharmacy Benefits. His research has been presented at numerous national and international conferences, including the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research, the International Society for Pharmacoepidemilogy, the American Public Health Association, the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, and the Society of Medical Decision Making.
